A pavilion, constructed on the southern edge of the Laguna Antihuala advances the conversation between land and lagoon in that it facilitates the recreational use of the lagoon by the local communities. In addition to adorning nature, the pavilion marks the location of an important event in the history of the adjoining town (from which it receives its namesake – Antihuala) as well as formalizes the site for celebratory use. The studio and their efforts received generous support and partnership from the Municipality of Los Alamos, ARAUCO and the community of Antihuala.
